Hi, I'm Verly, a registered nurse and the formulator behind NurseCrafted® skincare.

My Story

For a long time, I hid my true skin under makeup. I grew up in an environment where lighter, fairer skin was seen as the standard of beauty, and freckles were something to erase.

When I moved to the U.S., I couldn't find the products I used back home. I would stand in the beauty aisle for hours, looking for something gentle enough for my sensitive skin, yet able to take care of my other skin needs. I'd end up buying one product for dry skin, another for sensitivity, another for brightening, and so on. And I still couldn't leave the house without foundation.

As I got older, I learned that I can be beautiful just the way I am. When my skin can glow on its own, when rough little bumps are gently exfoliated, when dull areas look radiant again, there's nothing to hide. My freckles are part of me, and they make me feel beautiful and confident, naturally.

Learning to make my own skincare taught me to embrace my natural glow. I haven't worn makeup in 10 months. I used to need foundation just to go out. Now I wear my bare skin anywhere.

But I also know how hard self-care feels when life is busy. As a nurse, I know a 10-step routine was never going to fit. So I create products that do more than one job, for nurses on long shifts, women who wear many hats, moms juggling kids and more than one job, and anyone struggling with sensitive, dry or dull skin who has little time to spare.

That's what I want for you too: simple skincare that brings back your natural glow, so makeup becomes a choice, not a cover.

Why NurseCrafted®

Constant handwashing, dry air and little sleep: I know what long shifts do to your skin. I started HumbleGlow Collections to make self-care feel simpler, more intentional, and easier to enjoy, even after a long day.

Every NurseCrafted® product is made in small batches here in Bristol, Connecticut. I formulate with carefully selected ingredients, nourishing plant oils, and practical, multifunctional benefits, with a focus on dry, sensitive, dull, and uneven-looking skin. All fragrance and essential oils are used within IFRA safe-usage guidelines.

My products are made for nurses, healthcare workers, and anyone with a busy routine who wants care that is gentle, dependable, and easy to keep up with.

Handcrafted Soap Bars
